It is time for an awesome giveaway! Who's in?

A few weeks ago, my cousin was asking, family and friends, for advice on natural remedies for her year and a half year old baby.
I truly wanted to share with her, the home remedies I use. The problem was that they all included questionable ingredients. The truth was that I didn't know of any natural products for babies to share.

I have to confess that I felt a little frustrated, because then I thought: "What if this ever happens to me?" As many of you know, I am Hispanic, and unfortunately in our culture, we mostly don't go to the doctor unless we are dying. We usually opt for the natural remedies instead. Because of this, homeopathic remedies are a big deal among our culture; however, I have been very lucky that my immune system is good enough most of the time, and I don't have to worry about taking anything. My husband on the other hand; gets sick all the time, has allergies, and aches. To me, this means that our kids may get a little of both our immune systems. This is how, knowing what natural products to trust, became a recent interest of mine.

Hello friends. It's good to be back!

After a few months of being away, due to work being very intense, and endless projects being done, I finally got some time to get back with this project and other projects to come. As some of you may know, my husband and I have been trying to conceive. We are still waiting for the blessing, however, I decided to start a new project where both my husband and I could share a piece of our world with you. Don't worry, we will still have the happy baby, but we will also share other interesting things that we do in our lives like: gardening, cooking, collecting things, etc.

The happy baby blog is oriented to Moms and Dads with a little one in their lives, but since we haven't had the blessing yet, there is not a lot to write about on a daily basis. I think I have pre-nested enough, and might not have anything new to share with you until we actually get pregnant, and I feel that is not really fair for you guys in the long-run. I mean, what if it never happens? I still want to be able to share goodies I find online, offline, and just baby talk. In a way, being connected to the baby world makes me happy, and I feel it makes me a bit more prepared for when we get the blessing of a little one in our lives.

From everyone at "The Happy Baby Blog", may this year that starts bring lots of blessings, and success into your homes and projects. Hopefully we would have a lot of fun adventures to share with you, lots of giveaways and exciting reviews of very practical and amazing products for you and your family.

Just when you thought the craziness was over. Here comes week six, ahhhh!

Hello, My name is Missha and I am a Swaddling Blanket addict.

We finally got a winner for our $25 gc towards Sweetbottoms Baby Boutique!

To celebrate International Babywearing Week (October 5th - 11th) I decided to review the NEW Baby K'tan Active baby carrier.

I found these two very adorable baby outfits in my last Thrifty hunt.

This lovely Juicy Couture string terry jumper in a delightful ruffle style in white. It is very cute and adorable and I am very excited for this find. We live in the coast in San Diego, and this would be the perfect outfit for a day at the beach. What do you think?
I think it originally retailed between $60 - $78, but I only paid $6.00 for it. Yay for that!

The second one is an Ed Hardy hooded jumper. This tone of blue-green is one of my favorite tones of blue or is it green? I was very excited about this find, since I think it can be a very neutral baby outfit for both boys and girls. I love the theme of this outfit.

I think it used to retail somewhere around $30, though I am not sure, but since I only paid $2.00 in this thrifty find, I am very happy with that.

And those are my finds for this Thursday. Have any of you guys gone thrift hunting lately? If so, what fun and cool things have you found? I would love to read about your new treasures.

I am very excited to announce that we are almost over with September, which means that soon we will have another "Happy Baby Blog" giveaway winner.

Hello friends from "The Happy Baby Blog". It´s been a busy week really, but I just had to come and share the Thrifty Thursday find for today. Oh my, have I been lucky with this find. I just found out not long ago that I developed a certain addiction to baby blankets. Most of them are soft, cozy, and very enjoyable.

Hi friends and welcome to another review by "The Happy Baby Blog". I was given the opportunity to share my opinions and review the new DVD series: Disney Jr. - Doc McStuffins - School of Medicine.

Welcome to the Back To School Tech-Style Sweepstakes!

This Sweepstakes is over.

I´ve heard that in order to fix a problem, you have to first admit that there is a problem. For a very vain woman like me, admitting that I am overweight is hard, specially knowing that I´ve had this problem for a very long time. I come from a family that is predisposed genetically to be wide. On my dad´s side, men are wide in their torso, while women have very wide hips. On my mom´s side there is the belly and the big but. I guess they didn´t leave me much of a choice, and from a very young age I noticed that I inherited traits from both sides. Looking so much like my grandma, was a hint that I might end up looking like her when I grew older, or even her mom who was a bit bigger. I mean they did birth like 12 kids my great grandmother and 5 my grandmother, but still, because my mom lived in denial for half of her life. She would blame her weight to "I gave birth to you two!" (My brother and me) And I grew up thinking that just because you had kids you ended up overweight, and though this might be true to some point, nothing says that you can´t get slimmer at some point after baby.
