Hello lovely followers! I am very happy to say that we are on the second day of one of my favorite months of the year. Though it is important to show our love to the people we care for all year round, February is when you literally get to see the hearts, cupids, and love arrows everywhere. For me, the focus of this month has always been targeted around my friends. I get to do special love gestures to my dearest husband all the time, but I do not get to see my friends all the time because they all live far away. Therefore February for me is when I honor my friends.

Therefore I am starting the month by sharing some of my new favorite products with my friends/readers/followers. If you remember, we participated in the promotion of Hyland's #healthy4holidays event during the last Holiday season. During this event, Hyland's had teamed up with a group of great companies to bring 3 lucky participants a chance to win a basket filled with products from: Wild Oats Marketplace, Shea Moisture, Justin's, Ella's Kitchen, One Love Unified, and of course some goodies from Hyland's Homeopathy.

As a participating blog, we also got to try some of the products from these fabulous companies and let me tell you that I am in l-o-v-e!

First I start my day of by using Shea Moisture products. I use the delightful Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weightless Shampoo w/Imbe Oil & Aloe, and OMG!!! It automatically transports my senses into a tropical vacation. The shampoo is translucent and you don't have to use much to get the nice results. Though I have to use another shampoo (the story of my life), for itchy scalp, I love to finish off with this Shea Moisture shampoo and enjoy of the lovely fruity smell all day long. Then I use the Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Weighless Créme Rinse w/Imbe Oil & Aloe to hydrate and soften my long hair.


Since I have to wait about a minute before I rinse it off, I take advantage of that time and use the Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Energizing Hand & Body Scrub w/Imbe Oil & Aloe. It is a great way to exfoliate, energize, and hydrate your skin with a blend of natural and organic ingredients. I love the way it smells, and how a little goes a long way. I don't know if you are supposed to use it in your face or not, but that is where I use mine. I just gently rub it into my skin, and then remove with warm water. I don't use it every day, but when I do, I feel like if my skin had been reborn; I love it!



Then I got a fantastic T-shirt from One Love Unified. I am totally in love with this T, because it is super light and it is made of 100% Organic Cotton; you all know how much I love organic products. Did you know that 10% of the proceeds from purchases made towards a One Love Unified product goes to environmental and social organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund and NRDC? That is super awesome! Plus, this company is a neighbor company as they are located in Venice Beach, California and I am in California too. I love the different prints they have, but I must say I do love the one I am showing you in this photo.



My husband said I look very cute in it. It is still cold outside, thus the scarf, so the fabric feels cool. However, I know that if I go outside I can wear a jacket or coat on top and won't feel all bulky and heavy. I really, really love this T-shirt, so thanks One Love Unified.

So after I am ready, it is of course time to have something delicious to eat! I was given the opportunity to try Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter blend. Usually it is my husband who has this type of treat for breakfast or even as a snack during the evening. However, once I tried Justin's I was like: "My prrrrrecious". Not only because it has natural and organic ingredients, but because it is very yummy in my tummy!


My favorite way to eat Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Blend is to spread it in a toast and add banana slices on top. Please do try it (unless you are allergic, then don't), it tastes soooo good. Can't wait to try making some cookies or some other treat to share with my husband. After all, V'day is coming. Now after I have had my delicious breakfast treat. It is important to mention that I live in SoCal, which is technically a desert. When you come from a place where you get Hurricane season, meaning; it is humid all the time, it is not fun to live in the desert. However, you learn to deal with it and for that you have to stay well hydrated at all cost, or else you'd be walking a living prune, mock my words. Nevertheless, I am happy that I also got to try Ella's Kitchen Coconut Water Electrolyte Drinks in both Banana - Ginger, and Pears - Berries flavors. Coconut Water is great for when you want to feel refreshed and Electrolytes help you keep hydrated, so this product is perfect for me, considering that I tend to forget to drink enough water and later I am complaining that I am becoming the living prune I referenced before. The different flavors makes it fun for the whole family to enjoy.


From these two flavors, in the Pears - Berries one you mostly taste the Pears, which was a big surprise. I love pears, and it is not very common to get to taste this flavor in different drinks. In the Banana - Ginger flavor, to my surprise, you barely taste the banana. I like bananas, but I don't like the flavor to overpower the rest of the flavors in a blend. However, to my surprise, it is not the case in Ella's Kitchen Coconut Water Electrolyte Drink. You can taste the ginger for the most part, and the coconut; the banana is more like a background subtle taste, which I truly enjoyed.


So thank you very much Ella's Kitchen, for keeping my family Hydrated in these dry winter days.

Lastly, but not to say the least, Hyland's was kind enough to add some of their Natural Homeopathic Remedies to the bundle, which is perfect since the cold season is not over yet. It was very hot yesterday, and early today it was freezing. This is the perfect environment to harvest nasty colds, however, thanks to Hyland's Homeopathic remedies, our family is more than ready to fight them all.
